Connie Milstein is a successful attorney, entrepreneur, senior business executive and philanthropist. As principle and co-founder of Ogden CAP Properties, LLC, she oversees and guides the company’s real estate, hotel and development operations. Connie directed Ogden CAP Properties through the elegant reconstruction of Washington, DC’s historic Jefferson Hotel.
Connie has been very fortunate and believes that those who are fortunate should give back to those in need. “What I have tried to do is what my father always told me—find a niche where people are not doing what needs to be done and try and fill it.,” said Connie. In keeping with that philosophy, she created a bakery-training program that provides people with opportunities, training and guidance while bringing "sweetness" to their lives. Guided by the principal of giving back to a country that has given her much, her focus is to “give back” to all the brave men and women and their families who have fought and served our country. Connie’s Baking Company is putting “Cookies on a Campaign” to encourage support of veterans and military families. Connie’s Baking Company offers veterans and military families employment, training, and 100% of the profits from the bakery’s sweet success. It is her way of saying “Thank You” to all those who have served so bravely. Connie is a Board member of Blue Star Families and actively works to support these families. Connie’s Adopt-A-Base program honors military families with special events and treats for children.
Connie’s Baking Company has been a tradition in our home for many years. Now that Connie’s Mission is focused on 'giving back' to the military, it makes me even prouder to purchase them. Such a worthy cause! Congratulations Connie’s Baking Co.…you hit it out of the park!
